Post Doctoral Fellow

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the new School of Engineering’s center (Center for Flow Physics and Control) at RPI.  The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering and expertise in the area of Fluid Mechanics.   The candidate is expected to perform advanced research in the field of fluid mechanics and flow control, serve as a technical resource in one or more research areas within the Center, and perform original research through self-direction and as part of a research team.  Interested individuals may contact Prof. Michael Amitay @ amitam@rpi.edu.  Please submit complete curriculum vitae, including the names and addresses of three references, copies of the Ph.D. transcript, and sample publications.  Applications will be accepted until the position will be filled.

 

Research Engineer

The Research Engineer will work as a senior member of the Center for Flow Physics and Control (CeFPaC) to perform complex or leading edge research related to Fluid Mechanics, primarily focused on experimentation design, data acquisition and processing, and modeling and control.  The Research Engineer is responsible for carrying out on-going projects, expanding the scope of study, and helping supervise graduate students.  Qualified applicants must visit https://rpijobs.rpi.edu, and complete an on-line application for job number 20110204.  Applications will be accepted until the position will be filled.
