Sarah Zaremski

Sarah Zaremski began her graduate studies in the Mechanical, Aeronautical, and Nuclear Engineering department at Rensselaer in January 2011. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering in May 2010 from RPI and worked at CeFPaC  (previously the Flow Control Research Lab) for a semester during her undergraduate studies. She has held internships with the General Electric Company working with steam turbines, as well as the Office of Naval Research in Dahlgren, Virginia. As an undergrad, Sarah was involved with the Society of Women Engineers and held position of Secretary her senior year. She is also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region and volunteers at the Albany Capitol City Rescue Mission on holidays. Her current research involves the use of Electroactive polymer (EAP) actuation for flow control at low Reynolds numbers.
